JFK is considered a large airport with 5 terminals and 130 gates. However it no longer appears in the top 10 largest airports with the rise of super sized airports in Asia and the Middle East. However its size makes it an easy airport to sleep in for a short time as it is busy at all hours with many passengers.

In Terminal 4, Minute Suites offer pod like experience to rest. Passengers however must have a boarding pass with the same day as their flight.
