Changi airport is one of the few airports worldwide that is a joy to visit. The attractions and facilities at the airport are first class and well documented. We recently transited through the airport and had a long wait till our next flight. We wondered whether you can sleep at Singapore Changi airport? In this article we discuss the possibilities and where the best places to take a nap.

Yes you can sleep at Changi airport overnight. There is no better airport to take a nap than Singapore Changi airport, with its uber modern design and tonnes of comfy seating. If you plan to take a nap here make sure you have you travel credentials with you to show anyone that asks.

Where is the best place to sleep at Changi airport for free?

Where in Changi airport is specifically a good place to nap? These are our top suggestions.

  • T1 viewing gallery is quite secluded, especially at the far end, there is a spot that’s blocked by a pillar and behind it an empty space to get some privacy.
  • If you are in T3 there are a few options as well including at B2, opposite the food court, near the escalators there are massage chairs that I’ve seen ppl sleeping in.
  • There’s also a mini cinema at B2, where you could lay down at the back.
  • Also at the end of T3 B2, near the entrance to the train station are circular benches close the fountain where you can lie down.
